NPRA holds awareness for foreign communities

Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has held an awareness event at the Indian Club on Friday. The event is organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Development and Labour Market Regulatory Authority and the sponsorship of Bahrain National Gas, Lulu International Group, Colours Events Management Company and the Indian Club. It was held under the theme “Awareness-Discipline-Happiness.”

The event attracted a huge number of members of foreign communities and representatives of unions and embassies. It included speeches by the spokespersons of the participating authorities.

The awareness aimed to highlight the residency rules, the rights and duties of expatriates and concerned authorities they should seek for assistance. Various publications in different languages were distributed, while Lulu distributed prizes and Bangladeshi Social Welfare Community distributed safety tools.
