Description of Service

This service allows for updating passport information in compliance with Act No. 11 of 1975, its executive regulations, and Decree-Law No. 26 of 2000, governing name and surname claims

Required Terms of the Service

• In case of any clerical errors found in the passport

Procedure

• Book an appointment through the Mwaeid application 
• Visit NPRA service center in person
• Submit all required documents, including the application form
• Pay the fee(s) and get the receipt 
• When your passport is ready, you will receive an SMS notification to collect it from the assigned service center

Required Documents

• Application form
• Recent Passport photo with a white background (size 6x4 cm)
• Request letter addressed to NPRA
• Copy of the passport 
• Documents clarifies the clerical error 
• Additional requested documents

• Personal attendance (Muharraq Security Complex - Isa Town branch)

• 10 working days

Fees

• ePassport first-time issue 12 BHD (individuals above 60 years 6 BHD)
• ePassport renewal 15 BHD (individuals above 60 years 7.5 BHD)
