Residence Permit for Children of Bahraini Mothers Married to Foreigners

Description of Service

A residence permit can be issued or renewed for children of Bahraini mothers who are married to foreigners. The permit is valid for a period of 2 years, with the option for renewal, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Terms of Service

•  The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
•  Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
•  The applicant must be located inside the Kingdom of Bahrain to submit the application

Procedure

•  Apply through any of the service channels
•  Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

Processing Time

•  1 working day

Required Documents

• Application form (for submission at service center only)
• A clear copy of the applicant's ID card or the ID card of the authorized person submitting the application (for submission at service center only)
• A clear copy of the applicant's passport valid for more than 6 months (please attach a copy of the family information page or any additional information in the passport)
• A written under taking is required stating that the daughter is not married ,and the son over the age 24 is unemployed.  
• The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time

Note

• The applicant must be an actual resident inside the Kingdom of Bahrain (For renew applications)
• In case of divorce, the official certified custody order issued by the sharia courts in Kingdom of bahrain or any other country must be attached 
• Clear certified copy of the marriage certificate and birth certificate issued by the legal courts of Bahrain or any other country
