Description of Service
A residence permit can be issued or renewed for the direct family members ( father, mother, husband, and children ) of a Bahraini citizen, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain
Required Terms of the Service
- The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
- Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
- The applicant must be located inside the Kingdom of Bahrain to submit the application
Procedure
- Apply through any of the service channels
- Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

Required Documents
- Application form (for submission at service center only
- A clear copy of the applicant's ID card or the ID card of the authorized person submitting the application (for submission at service center only)
- A clear copy of the Bahraini guarantor ID
- A clear copy of the applicant’s passport valid for more than 6 months
- A clear copy of the foreign husband’s passport valid for more than 6 months
- A clear copy of the marriage certificate (for renew)
- A clear copy of valid Bahraini health insurance for the applicant
- The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time
Fees
- Applying fees: Non-refundable 5 BHD
- Issuance of residence permit fee: 50 BHD
- Renewal of residence permit fee: 60 BHD
Note
- If the residence permit is issued, residents are not allowed to engage in any form of work, whether paid or unpaid, during their visit
- For renewal applications, the applicant must be permanently located inside the Kingdom of Bahrain
- For the resident's sons/daughters, an original birth certificate must be submitted
- Payment must be made within 30 days of application approval or the application will be automatically cancelled
