Residence Permit for Resident's Direct Family Members (Father, Mother, Husband, and Children above 24 years old)

Description of Service

A residence permit can be issued or renewed for the direct family members (father, mother, husband, and children above 24 years old) of a resident, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Terms of the Service

• Clear copy of the guarantor's or legal representative's ID card
•  Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
• The applicant must be located inside the Kingdom of Bahrain to submit the application

Procedure

• Apply through any of the service channels
• Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

Required Documents

•  Application form (for submission at service center only)
• A clear copy of the applicant's ID card or the ID card of the authorized person submitting the application (for submission at service center only)
• A clear copy of the wife’s passport valid for more than 6 months (please attach a copy of the family information page or any additional information in the passport)
• A clear copy of the resident’s salary insurance issued by governmental entity or its equivalent in private sector from the general organization for social insurance. provided that the monthly salary is not less than 1000 BHD. (for renew)
• A clear copy of valid Bahraini health insurance for the applicant
• A written undertaking stating that the children are not married
• The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time 

Fees

• Applying fee 5 BHD (Non-refundable) 
• Issuance of residence permit fee 50 BHD
• Renewal of residence permit fee 60 BHD

Note

• If the residence permit is issued, residents are not allowed to engage in any form of work, whether paid or unpaid, during their visit
• For renewal applications, the applicant must be permanently located inside the Kingdom of Bahrain
• For the resident's sons/daughters, an original birth certificate must be submitted
• Payment must be made within 30 days of application approval or the application will be automatically cancelled
