Description of Service

A residence permit can be issued or renewed for a period of 5 years for students enrolled in local universities or institutes, and for a period of one year for students enrolled in universities or institutes abroad, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Terms of the Service

  • The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
  • Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
  • The applicant must be located inside the Kingdom of Bahrain to submit the application

Procedure

  • Apply through any of the service channels
  • Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

Required Documents

  •  Application form(for submission at service center only)
  • A clear copy of the applicant's ID card or the ID card of the authorized person submitting the application (for submission at service center only)
  • A clear copy of the student's enrollment letter into the educational institution
  • The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time 

FEES

  • Applying fee 5 BHD (Non-refundable)
  • Issuance of residence permit fee 60 BHD
  • Renewal of residence permit fee 60 BHD

Note

  • If the residence permit is issued, residents are not allowed to engage in any form of work, whether paid or unpaid, during their visit
  • Payment must be made within 30 days of application approval or the application will be automatically cancelled
