• NPRA takes part in Cityscape exhibition 2022

    Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has participated in the Cityscape exhibition 2022 that is being held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister that is being held unit November 24 at Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre. The NPRA highlights through the exhibition the efforts made to enhance the investment environment in many sectors in a way that supports the national economy and is in line with the aspirations of the government and Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.   • Passports Directorate to continue work throughout the week in Muharraq and Isa Town offices

    The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) announced on Wednesday that the Passports Directorate continues to provide its services throughout the week, including Friday and Saturday, November 11 and 12, from 7 am to 7 pm at its offices in Muharraq and Isa Town. The directorate issues voting statements in coordination with the concerned authorities for those whose passports are lost and damaged or at embassies after providing the required evidence. In-person attendance is required to process the application. More

  • Bahrain Airport achieves (ASQ) Award

    His Excellency Ministry of Interior Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence hailed the achievement of Bahrain Airport for receiving the highest rating in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award 2022 by the Airport Council International (ACI) in the field of customer service. Present were Assistant Undersecretary of Ports, Investigation & Pursuance Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al Doseri, Director of Ports Colonel Fawaz Nasir Al Jiran and Bahrain International Airport staff. HE MOI Undersecretary for (NPRA) asserted that the acheivment reflects the efficiency of the cadres and the implementation of excellence at work and the services provided.   • CID arrests 162 African for violating residency rules

    The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science, in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, has arrested 162 Africans for violating residency rules. Legal proceedings were taken against them. More
