Service Description

This visa is available for visitors who have family or relatives residing in Bahrain, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Terms of Service

•  The application must be submitted by a guarantor or authorized person
•  Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
•  The applicant must be located outside the Kingdom of Bahrain to submit the application

Procedure

•  Apply through any of the service channels
•  Pay the application fee(s) and receive the receipt

Service Channels

•  eGovernment official website - for citizens only
•  eVisa official website (for registered users only)
•  Personal attendance (Muharraq security complex - Isa town branch)

Processing Time

• Issuance: 3 working days
• Extension: 1 working day

Required Documents

Issuance:

•  Application form (for submission at service center only)
• A clear copy of the applicant's ID card or the ID card of the authorized person submitting the application 
• Applicant's passport copy, valid for more than 6 months
• A clear copy of the guarantor letter, stating the purpose of the visit
• A clear copy of the resident’s passport and resident permit
• Valid legal documents proving the relationship (Family visits)
• A clear copy of the guarantor's ID card (Personal purposes visa)
• A clear, certified copy of the resident's salary certificate, confirming a salary of at least 250 BHD
• The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time 

Extension:

•  Application form (submission at service centers only)
•  Applicant's passport copy, valid for more than 6 months

Fees

• Applying fee 5 BHD ( Non-refundable )
• Visa approval fee 5 BHD
• Visa issuance fee 30 BHD
• Visa extension fee 30 BHD

Note

• Visitors are not allowed to engage in any form of work, whether paid or unpaid, during their visit
• Visa will be invalid if not used within three months of issuance
