Resident Permit Cancellation

Description of Service

Cancellation service is provided to residents in Bahrain to facilitate their departure, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Required Terms of the Service

•  The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
•  Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents

Procedure

• Apply through the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs website
• Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

• NPRA official website 
• Personal attendance at Muharraq Security Complex - Isa Town branch

Processing Time

•  1 working day

Required Documents

• Application form
• Copy of the applicant's passport

Fees

•  Valid resident permit for more than one month (Free-of-charge)
•  Valid resident permit cancellation within one month, with a one-month grace period given (5 BHD)
•  Expired resident permit cancellation (15 BHD)
•  Expired resident permit cancellation (15 BHD), with a delay fine of 10 BHD per year calculated

Notes

•  Original applicant's passport is required
•  Cancellation must be done through the Labour Market Regulatory Authority system for valid resident permits
