Description of Service
Cancellation service is provided to residents in Bahrain to facilitate their departure, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Required Terms of the Service
- The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
- Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
Procedure
- Apply through the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs website
- Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

- Application form (for submission at service center only
- A clear copy of the applicant's ID card or the ID card of the authorized person submitting the application
- A clear copy of the guarantor ID and the commercial register certificate
- A clear copy of the applicant’s passport
- The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time
Fees
- Valid resident permit for more than one month (Free-of-charge)
- Expired residency cancellation fee 15 BHD (no retrospective calculation)
- Grace period renewal fee 15 BHD (per month)
- Expired work residency cancellation fee 15 BHD (per year)
- Expired enrolled residency cancellation fee 10 BHF (per 4 months)
Notes
- Original applicant's passport is required
- Cancellation must be done through the Labour Market Regulatory Authority system for valid resident permits
- Payment must be made within 30 days of application approval or the application will be automatically cancelled
