Resident Permit Cancellation

Description of Service

Cancellation service is provided to residents in Bahrain to facilitate their departure, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Required Terms of the Service

• The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
• Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
• Original Passport of the Applicant must be presented (Service centers only)

Procedure

• Apply through the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs website
• Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

• Personal attendance at Muharraq Security Complex - Isa Town branch

Processing Time

•  5 minutes

Required Documents

• Application form (for submission at service center only
• Copy of Guarantor's or Authorized Signatory's ID (Service centers only)
• Copy of Applicant's or Authorized Person's ID (Service centers only)

The Directorate reserves the right to request any additional documents or details as deemed necessary at any time.

Fees

• Valid resident permit for more than one month (Free-of-charge)
• Expired residency cancellation fee 15 BHD (no retrospective calculation)
• Grace period renewal fee 15 BHD (per month)
• Expired work residency cancellation fee 15 BHD (per year) 
• Expired enrolled residency cancellation fee 10 BHF (per 4 months)
