Grace Period

Description of Service

The grace period issuance and renewal service is available for residents whose residency has expired, allowing them to transfer or depart within the relevant rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Terms of Service

•  The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
•  Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
•  The applicant must be located inside the Kingdom of Bahrain to submit the application

Procedure

•  Apply through any of the service channels
•  Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

• Personal attendance ( Muharraq security complex - Isa town branch )
• eGovernment official website 

Processing Time

• Issuance 1 working day

Required Documents

•  Application form (for submission at service center only)
• A clear copy of the applicant's ID card or the ID card of the authorized person submitting the application (for submission at service center only)
• A clear copy of the applicant's passport valid for more than 6 months (attach a copy of the family information page or any additional information in the passport)
• A letter of commitment stating the reason for requesting an extension
• A clear copy of the guarantor ID \ commercial registration. Government agencies excluded in case of (extension for transfer) 
• The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time
