Self-Sponsorship Residence Permit ( Family)

Description of Service

The Self-Sponsorship Residence Permit is issued to property owners in Bahrain, allowing them to reside under their own sponsorship. Self-sponsorship is governed by rules and regulations in accordance with the law.

Required Terms of the Service

•  The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
•  Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents

Procedure

• Apply through eVisa official website 
• Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

Processing Time

•  20 working days

Required Documents

•  A clear copy of the applicant's passport, valid for more than 6 months
•  A clear copy of the applicant's ID
•  Valid medical insurance certificate issued in the Kingdom of Bahrain
• A clear copy of Father or mother residence permit
• A written undertaking stating that the children are not married
• A clear copy of the student's enrollment letter into the educational institution (over 18 years old).

Procedures

• Submit the request of Self Sponsorship Residence Permit renewal before 6 months of its expiry.
• Apply via website ( www.evisa.gov.bh ) only. 
• Required fees payment.

Fees

• Application fee 5 BHD (Non-refundable)
•  2 years residence permit fee 200 BHD
•  5 years residence permit fee 400 BHD
• 10 years residence permit fee 600 BHD
• Transfer fee 250 BHD
