Service Description

The passport issuance service is specifically for children of Bahraini fathers

Terms of the Service

Personal Attendance

• Application must be submitted by the father or an authorized person at any of the service centers, for newborns and individuals with limited capacity
• Submit all relevant documents, including originals and copies
• The father's presence is required for passport collection

• Attach all required documents
• Pay the application fee(s) after the administrative audit is complete
• The father's presence is required for passport collection from the assigned service center

Required Documents

Personal Attendance

• Application form
• Passport photo with a white background (size 6x4 cm)
• Original and copy of the birth certificate
• Original and copy of the father's and mother's passports
• Original and copy of the marriage certificate
• Father's or mother's death certificate (if applicable)

Procedure

Personal Attendance

• Book an appointment through the Mwaeid application
• Visit the NPRA service centers in person
• Fill out the application form
• Submit all required documents, including the application form
• Pay the application fee(s)
• Receive your printed receipt and receipt number via SMS for confirmation
• When your passport is ready, you will receive an SMS notification to collect it from the same service center where you applied. The father's presence is required for collection

• Once payment is complete, you will receive your receipt via SMS
• When your passport is ready, you will receive an SMS notification to collect it from the selected service center. The father's presence is required for collection

Fees

• Issuance of electronic passport 12 BHD ( 6 BHD for individuals above 60 years old )
• Renewal of electronic passport 15 BHD ( 7.5 BHD for individuals above 60 years old )
