Golden Residency for Foreign Residents in Bahrain (Employees/Retirees)

Description of Service

Golden Residency issuance service is provided for foreign residents in Bahrain (employees/retirees), within applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Terms of the Service

• For employees, applicant must be a resident in Bahrain for at least 5 years with an average salary of 2000 BHD
• For retirees, pension must be at least 4000 BHD
• Application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
• Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents

Procedure

• Apply through eGovernment official website
• Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

Required Documents

• Clear copy of salary certificate ( minimum 2000 BHD )
• Clear copy of valid medical insurance certificate issued in the Kingdom of Bahrain
• Clear copy of previous residence permit ( if applicable )
• Clear copy of applicant's 6-month bank statement

Fees

• Non-refundable application fee 4 BHD
• 10 years golden residency fee 300 BHD

Note

The Golden Residency can be renewed for the same duration and fees if all conditions are met
