Request Exit Permit (GCC & Foreign Nationals)

Description of Service 

This service is provided to non-Bahraini individuals who need to request an exit permit in the following situations

• Newborns
• Individuals with lost GCC passport or ID
• Passport holders with expired passports and no embassy available in the Kingdom of Bahrain

Terms and Conditions

• Verify the information and attached documents

Procedure

• Apply through the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs website
• Fill out the application form
• Attach the necessary documents

Documents Required

For newborns:

• Security services application form (signed by the guarantor if applicable)
• Copy of the commercial record
• Certified marriage certificate
• Copies of the mother and father's valid passports
• Copies of the mother and father's valid residence permits
• Child birth certificate, or newborn report (if not available, attach DNA test certificate)

For expired passport holders with no embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain

• Applicant's passport copy or travel document
• Security services application form (signed by the guarantor)
• Copy of the commercial record
• Copy of the airline ticket booked within a week of the travel date

For lost GCC passports or IDs

• Security services application form
• Copy of the passport or travel document issued by the applicant's embassy
• Copy of the lost passport
• Valid loss certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Information and Certificate Section

Fees

• Exit permit issuance: 5 BHD
• Additional fees will be charged for cancellation, issuance, or renewal during the grace period
