Self-Sponsorship Residence Permit and Re-entry Visa (For foreigners who own property in Bahrain)

Description of Service

Foreigners who own a residence in the Kingdom of Bahrain can issue or renew self-sponsorship residence permit for durations of 2, 5, or 10 years, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Terms of the Service

•  The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
•  Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents

Procedure

•  Apply through eVisa official website
•  Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

Processing Time

•  40 working days

Required Documents

•  A clear copy of the applicant's passport, valid for more than 6 months
•  A clear copy of the applicant's ID
• Certificate of good conduct
• Certified copy of ownership title deed (property value not less than 50,000 BHD)
• Valid medical insurance certificate issued in the Kingdom of Bahrain
• Evidence of a stable income of 500 BHD or more
• A clear copy of the applicant's or legal representative's ID card
• A clear copy of previous residence permit
• A clear copy of electricity bill 
• 3 months bank statement 
• The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time 

Fees

•  Application fee 5 BHD (Non-refundable)
•  2 years residence permit fee 200 BHD
•  5 years residence permit fee 400 BHD
• 10 years residence permit fee 600 BHD
• Transfer fee 250 BHD
