Residence Permit for Foreign Employees of GCC Companies

Description of Service

A residence permit can be issued or renewed for foreign employees of GCC companies, within the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Bahrain

Required Terms of the Service

• The application must be submitted by a guarantor or an authorized person
• Each application must be submitted separately, along with all relevant documents
• The applicant must be located inside the Kingdom of Bahrain to submit the application

Procedure

• Apply through any of the service channels
• Pay the application fee(s) and get the receipt

Required Documents

•  Application form
• A clear copy of the authorized person submitting the application ID card 
• A clear copy of the applicant’s passport valid for more than 6 months (please attach a copy of the family information page or any additional information in the passport)
• A clear copy of the gulf guarantor’s letter, certified by the commercial and industrial authority in one of the GCC countries. (For renew)
• Clear copy of the residential lease agreement in the Kingdom of Bahrain
•  A clear copy of the household GCC resident permit
• A clear copy of the valid company registration certificate from a GCC country
• The administration has the right to request any additional necessary documents and information at any time 

Fees

• Application fee 5 BHD (Non-refundable)
• Issuance of residence permit fee 50 BHD
• Renewal of residence permit fee 60 BHD
