NPRA Undersecretary receives Director-General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights

The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received the Director-General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Dr Yousif Buchairi. 

The NPRA Undersecretary, who is also head of the committee of the Maan (together) programme against violence and addiction, highlighted the directives of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to spread Bahrain’s experience regionally and internationally in the protection of the rights of children per the expertise of Bahrain’s police in promoting intellectual security. 

He discussed the panel’s human and children's rights programmes, emphasising the importance of the studies and seminars circulated through the regional Maan Research and Training Centre. He also highlighted the significance of cooperation with the concerned authorities to enhance human rights principles, keeping the targeted audience informed and updated. 

The envoy appreciated Maan’s remarkable milestones and the panel's efforts to adhere to human rights principles to protect children's rights.
