On the occasion of obtaining (ISO 37301) for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain by the Anti-Violence and Addiction Programme Ma’an (Together), which is an initiative of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Value of Citizenship (Bahrainouna), the Ministry of Interior Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence and Chairman of Anti-Violence and Addiction Committee, His Excellency Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa received the Interior Ministry Inspector-General, Major- General Abdulla Mohammed Al Zayed.
HE Shaikh Hisham asserted that the achievement was the result of the instructions and support of His Excellency Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to Ma’an Programme. The ISO 37301 Compliance Management System (CMS) is based on defining a set of processes designed to ensure compliance and conformity with all applicable laws and regulations. The system contributes to effective content management by identifying relevant requirements, ensuring compliance, and providing all the main guidelines for effective CMS based on the principles of governance, proportionality, transparency and sustainability.
The Inspector-General confirmed that the achievement reflected the administrative readiness of the Ma’an Programme and the commitment to the quality of the processes and procedures adopted to improve work outcomes and provide services according to standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Ma'an programme obtained the fifth ISO certificate in the quality system, in addition to the certificates that were obtained, which are ISO 29993, ISO 9001, ISO 31000, and ISO 37000.
