The Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and Chairman of the Maan Committee Against Violence and Addiction, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, received the Director of Crime Prevention and Director of the “Maan” Programme, Ali Ahmed Amini, along with a number of programme staff members, on the occasion of their attainment of accredited professional certifications in various technical and specialised fields. This comes as part of the programme’s efforts to enhance the competence of its personnel and advance institutional performance.
During the meeting, the Chairman reviewed the professional certifications held by the programme members, affirming that they add value by strengthening professional and specialised capabilities and supporting the work system in line with the Programme's strategic orientations to implement preventive and community initiatives in accordance with international best practices.
He stressed that human resource development and the empowerment of competencies through professional qualifications and continuous learning constitute a fundamental pillar for the success of programmes and the sustainability of their impact. Such efforts play a direct role in improving the quality of planning, implementation and evaluation, and in consolidating a culture of excellence and quality in performance, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of initiatives and serving the programme’s objectives and community mission.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the Maan Committee honoured the staff members who obtained professional certifications, in recognition of their commitment to professional development and to encourage them to continue their learning and elevate performance, thereby strengthening the programme’s role and achieving its institutional and community objectives.
