During Their Visit to the United Kingdom… NPRA Undersecretary and President of Customs Meet Director General of Border Security

As part of the Ministry of Interior delegation’s visit to the United Kingdom, Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa and President of Customs, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa met with the Director General of Border Force, Phil Douglas.

During the meeting, the delegation was briefed on the future strategy, administrative structure, and duties related to border security operations. Areas of cooperation and joint coordination were also discussed.

Both sides agreed on the importance of exchanging future-oriented views and ideas on artificial intelligence systems, particularly in relation to the work of Customs Affairs and Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs.
