NPRA Undersecretary chairs Maan meeting

Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has chaired a meeting to explore the achievements of the Maan (Together) programme against violence and addiction.  The CEO of the National Cybersecurity Centre, Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa attended.

He welcomed the members, highlighting the programme’s efforts about the start of in-person schooling from the current academic year. He reviewed the new curriculums of the programme, including peaceful coexistence and fighting extremism.

Meanwhile, the CEO of the National Cybersecurity Centre highlighted the outcomes of the implantation of the cybersecurity curriculum, hailing the efforts of the Maan team and the centre’s employees in drafting the curriculum per the required professional standards.

During the meeting, the Director of Maan revealed some statistics. He highlighted that the programme covers 196 out of 211 schools, representing 93% of total schools in Bahrain in the first semester of the current academic year. At the end of the meeting, NPRA Undersecretary launched Maan app to promote interaction with the community and achieve the digital transformation approach of the Interior Ministry.
