NPRA urges citizens to renew passports before travel and benefit from electronic services

The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) called on citizens to check the validity of their passports and renew them in advance of their travel dates, to ensure smooth travel procedures and avoid any delays or obstacles that may affect their plans.
The call comes as part of NPRA’s commitment to streamlining procedures and providing services to citizens efficiently and smoothly.
NPRA affirmed that passport issuance and renewal services are available electronically around the clock, seven days a week, through the national portal of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This enables citizens to complete their transactions easily, at any time and from anywhere.
It also highlighted the availability of the fast-track service for those wishing to complete passport issuance or renewal procedures in a short period, as well as the passport delivery service within the Kingdom of Bahrain, providing citizens with greater convenience and flexibility.
