Issuance of Worker Status Certificate (Local Transfer / Departed / Present)

Service Description:

 This service provides sponsors with an official certificate indicating the current status of their workers (local transfer, departed, or present) for use in government or private-sector procedures.

 

Service Requirements:

Application must be submitted by the employer in person or by their legal representative

Login using the eKey on the NPRA-Bahrain website

 

Required Documents:

NPRA Official  website :

• A letter addressed to the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA).
• A copy of the commercial registration (CR) or the employer’s personal registration.
• A copy of the worker’s passport.
• A copy of the worker’s ID card.
• An authorization letter from the applicant to the representative.
• A copy of the representative’s ID card.

 

NPRA-Bahrain Mobile App: 

• No documents required

 

Service Processing Time: One to Three (1-3) working days.

 

How to Apply

NPRA  Official Website:

• Visit the NPRA official website.
• Select the service from the relevant department and complete the required fields.
• Upload the required documents.
• After approval, you will receive an SMS and email with the payment link.
• Complete the payment and receive a confirmation SMS.
• The certificate will be issued and emailed to you.

 

NPRA-Bahrain Mobile App:

• Download the NPRA-Bahrain mobile application.
• Log in using the eKey.
• Select Certificate Issuance Services, then follow the step process:

1.  Application: Select applicant type, choose the certificate type, specify the purpose, and confirm the declaration.

2.  Attachments: Upload the required documents (if requested).

3.  Confirmation.

4. Payment: Complete the payment of 5 BHD.
