Issuance of Previous Bahraini Passports Certificate

 

Service Description: This certificate is issued to Bahraini citizens to complete procedures required by other government entities.

 

Service Requirements:

• The application must be submitted by the applicant or their legal representative
• Login using the eKey through the NPRA-Bahrain Mobile App.

 

Required Documents:

NPRA Official Site

• A letter addressed to the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA)
• Copy of the applicant’s valid Bahraini passport
• Copy of the applicant’s Smart ID card
• Authorization letter from the applicant to the representative
• Copy of the representative’s Smart ID card
• Copy of the applicant’s previous Bahraini passport

 

NPRA-Bahrain Mobile App:

• No documents required

 

Service Processing Time: One to Three (1-3) working days.

 

 

How to Apply:

NPRA Official Website:

• Visit the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA) official website
• Select the relevant department and service type, and fill in the required fields
• Attach all necessary documents
• If the application is approved, a text message and email with a payment link will be sent
• A payment reference number will be sent via SMS as confirmation
• Once the certificate is ready, it will be sent via email

 

Via NPRA-Bahrain Mobile App:

• Download the NPRA-Bahrain mobile application
• Log in using your eKey
• Select Certificate Issuance, then complete the 4 steps:

1. Application: Choose applicant type (Personal), certificate type, purpose, and declaration
2. Attachments: Upload if requested
3. Confirmation
4. Payment: Pay the service fee of BHD 5
