Issuance of Certificate and Record of Multiple Travel Movements (For Lost Passport Cases)

Service Description: This certificate is issued upon request by GCC nationals or foreign nationals to be submitted to their embassy for the issuance of a replacement for a lost passport.

 

Service Requirements:

• Submission must be made by one of the applicant’s children or a legal representative.
• Login using the eKey via the NPRA-Bahrain platform.

 

Required Documents:

Official Website:

• Letter addressed to the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA).
• Copy of the lost passport (if available).
• Copy of the Smart ID card.
• Authorization letter from the applicant to the representative.
• Copy of the authorized representative’s Smart ID card.
• Statement from the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science.

• No documents required.

• One (1) working day.

 

How to Apply:

• Visit the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA) official website.
• Select the relevant department and certificate type, and fill out the required fields.
• Attach all required documents.
• If your application is approved, you will receive an SMS and email containing the payment link.
• A confirmation SMS with your payment reference number will be sent upon successful payment.
• Once the certificate is ready, it will be sent to your email.

 

NPRA-Bahrain Mobile App:

• Download the NPRA-Bahrain app on your mobile device.
• Log in using the eKey.
• Select the service type (Certificate Issuance), then proceed through the following four steps:

1. Application: Applicant (Personal), select certificate type, purpose, and declaration.
2. Attachments: If required.
3. Confirmation.
4. Payment: BHD 5.
