Travel Permit Issuance

This service is available to

Bahraini citizens foreign-born children
Lost or damage passports for abroad citizens, through Ministry of Foreign Affairs only

Application must be submitted by the father or an authorized person at any of the service centers, for newborns and individuals with limited capacity
For lost or damage passports, application must be submitted in abroad Bahrain embassies

Recent passport photo with a white background (in JPG or JPEG format) attached separately
Original and copy of the birth certificate
Copy of the father's and mother's passports
Copy of the marriage certificate
Additional requested documents

Lost or damaged passports travel permit

Recent passport photo with a white background (in JPG or JPEG format) attached separately
Copy of the passport
Copy of the passport for lost or damaged applications (if any)
Copy of the abroad lost report (issued by the official authority)

Book an appointment through the Mwaeid application
Print the service request form from the Nationality, Passports & Residence Affairs (NPRA) website.
Complete and sign the service request form
Visit the Isa Town Service Center or the Muharraq Security Complex.
Submit all required documents along with the service request form.
If your request is approved, you will receive a text message to collect the travel document from the Isa Town Service Center.
Once the travel document is ready for collection, you will receive a text message instructing you to visit the Isa Town Service Center or the Muharraq Security Complex.

Fill in all the required information
Attach personal photo, and all required document
When your transaction is completed, you will receive an SMS notification with the receipt number
When your transaction is completed, you will receive an SMS notification to print out your travel permit
