The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has organised, in cooperation with the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise of the Singaporean Government, a course on administrative development and process re-engineering at the Public Security Officers Club. The event covered Interior Ministry officials.
The NPRA Undersecretary, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, asserted that the course was part of the pioneering royal vision and the inspiration of the government to enhance performance through providing advanced government services for citizens, residents and visitors, through innovation and creativity to develop administrative and procedural work.
He hailed the instructions of His Excellency Interior Minister to develop security services and enhance productivity through professionalism, along with facilitating procedures through strategies and programmes to meet future requirements of digitalisation and the spread of excellence culture.
The Undersecretary said the course was organised by analysing the training needs for the best outcomes to meet the Interior Ministry strategy. He said such meetings promote the exchange of expertise and practices for technological development and learn about training needs for the national workforce.
The course included several topics, the most prominent of which was the importance of applying the innovation strategy in the procedures of the Ministry of Interior, analysing operations, developing procedures and managing change.
After the course, the NPRA Undersecretary thanked the participants and attendees, wishing them success in gaining expertise to develop procedures to provide the best services to citizens and residents.
