Sheikh Hisham bin Abdul Rahman: 177 beneficiaries of the platinum residency in Bahrain

His Excellency Sheikh Hisham bin Abdul Rahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, for the issuance of Resolution No. (47) of 2023 regarding the granting of entry visas and the platinum residence permit. in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He stressed the importance of this decision in developing residency systems in the Kingdom, enhancing the investment environment, and serving the commercial sector. Pointing out that the number of beneficiaries of the decision is only 177 residents who meet the conditions.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs stated that the platinum residency is granted to anyone whose residence period in the Kingdom has reached 15 years or more, provided that he is of good conduct and conduct, and has not previously been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving breach of honor or trust, even if he has been rehabilitated, and that his salary is average. The basic salary earned by 4,000 dinars or more during the last five years of residency.

He praised this decision because it constitutes a qualitative step that will contribute to providing qualitative facilities for the business sector, institutions and companies, which will have a positive impact on the commercial movement and the investment environment in the Kingdom.
